Watch!: Not bad. Have you done much stuff like this?
Matt Lanter: The most tropical place I’ve been is Cancun! Every time I look out at this view, it’s just like, “What?” I feel like we’re in Jurassic Park.

Watch!: Big time. So let’s start with 90210. Which girl do you want Liam to hook up with in Season 4?
Matt: Kissing AnnaLynne [McCord, who plays Naomi] is not a bad day of work. Nor is kissing Shenae [Grimes, who plays Annie]. There’s a lot of sex happening between Naomi and Liam, which is fun to play. But I think Liam and Annie have connected on a much more emotional level. That said, it’s 90210, so he could end up at any moment with any girl on the show.

What’s the best thing about being on 90210?

I would definitely say the best thing about being on the show is the great friends I’ve made. We’ve been doing the show for three years now and we have the best jobs in the world – I get to go to work and hang out with my friends basically.
Who’s your best friend on the show?

That’s pretty hard to say because we’re all pretty close. I see Michael Steger out of the show quite a lot, but we all meet up for dinners, so we see each other a lot.

Booth: What’s your favorite Star Wars movie and why?

Lanter: Oh, man. A lot of people might gawk at it, but I really love Revenge of the Sith because of what happens to Anakin. I think I watched the prequels before I watched the originals, so maybe that was more of my childhood than the originals were. And it’s really an emotional movie: huge events happening; the turn and fall of all that is good. I dig that one. But I also love Jedi, and I love Empire. So … (laughing) half of them are my favorites.

Booth: What do you remember most strongly about the first time you saw Star Wars?

Lanter: I was never really influenced by anyone around me with it. I was maybe 12 or 13 or 14 and decided to watch a couple of them in my room. My first memories of it are just watching it in my room as a fun popcorn movie.
